The situation: an artist with a lot of creativity in her field but not much experience with an online presence. The state of things before you can see here: bitteshappycorner.com .

tools and techniques used

The first thing to figure out was the way to showcase her work, the photography style and how to categorize the art pieces. We needed to find a balance between artistic expression and viewers capacity for absorbing it. Techniques used: 10 principals of UX - especially Miller's Law amongst the others. Branding for the photography style, fonts and colours. Webflow for the design to code. Ovh + digital ocean as the back end.

result

A simple site that accomplishes the task. Showcasing artists work and making it all accessible and readable from anywhere. Based on a framework and design that can be adjusted to the changes to come.

what i learned

Keeping it simple is not as easy as you might first think. Understanding of simplicity as good design. The basic setup of a cloud-based server, code validation and tag & metadata importance.
